Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is an opportunity to explore more about yourself and possible solutions to the challenges you are facing.  It may help you make connections and gain insight into parts of yourself and your life that you may not have noticed before.  You may learn new skills to empower you to overcome obstacles.  It can also provide a space to be reminded of some things you’ve known and forgotten or ignored.

In individual therapy, I am able to provide care that is specific to your strengths and needs and follows your lead.  We will go at your own pace.  We may also engage in movement and creative expression exercises to further strengthen the connections between your mind, body, and spirit as you heal.

If you are experiencing:

  • anxiety (feeling anxious, very worried often, have thoughts that won’t slow down, unsure of yourself),
  • depression,
  • grief/loss,
  • major life transitions,
  • issues related to racial and/or cultural identity,
  • issues related to generational and/or systemic oppression

this may be a place for you.
